‘Fundamentally Different’
Telecom Policy Approach
The Obama administration will bring a “fundamentally different” approach to telecommunications and technology issues than the Bush administration, with more activist and aggressive policies likely on a range of issues from promoting broadband deployment and intramodal competition to wireless consumer issues and roaming rules, according to the head of Bingham McCutcheon LLP’s Telecommunications, Media, and Technology practice.
